Yesterday we went back to the local Museum Archive for a drawing session.
This time we were drawing old photos of Hartlepool’s past mayors. We had about
40 minutes to look around and do some drawings. I didn’t have my sketchbook at
the time and only had black paper. I thought this was good though because I got
to try out some different things. I did the line work using a white pen, I tried
to use some different techniques to make the sketches look interesting. I only managed to
do a couple of drawings in the time we had but I think they were interesting.
One of them I might use in my final work.
