Class talk by Sean Sims

He began his talk by showing us what he finds inspiring. He talked a lot about travel posters from the 1950s and the work of Harry Stevens. He collects strange pottery with characters painted onto them.

During the talk several people in the crowd asked questions, a lot of them were about commissions and how he makes his work. He replied that he makes his work in Adobe Illustrator which I found interesting. It was interesting to hear the answers from a professional. I’m not a huge fan of Sean Sims work and style but It was a good experience to meet a professional.
