The Book of Drawings. Choosing the Animals

In my last post I decided that I was going to look at pond life for my book of drawings. I have done some research on the creatures which inhabit ponds but I want a bit of variety. I don’t just want to be painting all insects or birds.  I have collected ten animals which I think will give the book a lot of virility. I am going to research them all in future posts but for now I have listed them below.
