Digital manipulation/ Artist research. Jeff Simpson

One illustrator I want to look at is Jeff Simpson. It was difficult to find information about him but I really like his work and want to mention it. Some of his work looks a bit like concept art but I think that’s what he works on. I manly wanted to look at the painted style of the work. It’s very realistic and I like the washed out colour pallet. He often paints things with fantasy elements with I think works well with the style.  Some of the strokes he uses make the work look hand painted. Below are some of his illustrations.
